SDCC 2012: Awesome Costume Sightings Part 1

This year, there were noticeably less people cosplaying, but there were still clear favorites and standout costumes. The most popular costume for both men and women was Finn from Adventure Time, which I really want to start watching. Other popular costumes where male and female Doctors and female TARDISes. I tend to favor costumes that are relatively simple, but are clever or funny. Here are some of my favorites:

Effie Trinket from The Hunger Games

Double Rainbow (All the way across the sky! It's so intense!) Guy - This cosplay definitely made me laugh the most and was by far the most original.

Princess Daisy and Princess Peach from Super Mario - These guys had a great sense of humor and loved to show off their costumes and their princess moves.

The Joker from The Dark Knight
